TapeCase Polyimide Tape with Acrylic Adhesive BA is a 1 mil polyimide film tape coated with a silicone-free acrylic adhesive, offering excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and reliable thermal performance up to 311°F (155°C). The polyimide backing provides high dielectric strength and outstanding resistance to abrasion, punctures, and tearing while remaining thin and highly conformable. The acrylic adhesive provides high initial tack and delivers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. The silicone-free acrylic adhesive eliminates the risk of silicone contamination in applications where silicone based adhesives could interfere with sensitive processes. This is especially critical in electronics manufacturing, high temperature, and vacuum environments, where trace silicone residue can cause electrical failures, coating defects, or component malfunction. TapeCase BA is designed for dependable performance in demanding industrial and electronics applications. The BA series meets MIL P 46112B and ASTM D5213, Type 1, Item A specifications.
