3M™ Preservation Sealing Tape 481 is a tough, black polyethylene film with a unique rubber adhesive used for sealing, protecting, splicing and patching applications. Excellent weatherability with resistance to staining, use in the marine industry to attach and hold shrink wrap coverings to the hull of boats during temporary storage, shipment or repairs. Unique rubber adhesive provides excellent performance, works well in the industrial and construction industries as well as the military for sealing protective coverings over equipment and vehicles for long term storage of at least 2 years with clean removal. Conforms to irregular surfaces, ideal for hanging and sealing poly film to create containment areas and construction project barriers.
